Gift Guide: For the Traveler

I'm currently on my way to Orlando for Thanksgiving Break, so I thought that it would be a great idea to write up a gift guide for travelers. I travel a lot during the year, including spring break and winter break, and a lot of my travel necesseities are some of my favorite belongings. Check out this guide for the traveler in your life.

Holiday Guide 2015

Now that Thanksgiving Break is officially upon college students, it is a perfect time to go to the store and grab some gifts for your friends or your mother. This guide includes some gifts that you could grab for your mom or sister, or even ask for it for yourself for Christmas. I also included a few gifts under $50 that are perfect for stocking stuffers or gifts for friends. Let me know what you think about these options and comment what you're looking at for the holidays this year

Gifts for High School Graduates

I can't believe that it as almost been a year since I graduated high school. Here are some gifts that I would recommend either gifting, or buying with money that you receive at graduation.

Personally, I think a small wallet and a water bottle are two of the most important things to have at college because you can just grab both and go. This Tory Burch wallet is the perfect size to just throw in your backpack without taking up much room! I personally use either a Nalgene or Camelbak for my water bottle, but I saw this Kate Spade water bottle and thought it would be perfect for this guide!

The Adult Coloring book will come in handy when you want to destress during the week. I like these coloring books because the pictures are detailed and are more than just cartoon characters. Similar books are available from Barnes and Noble and Amazon.

Also, I am obsessed with Birkenstocks! They are perfect to just throw on with jeans and a simple shirt to add to a comfortable outfit!

I also recommend typing up a list of advice for your friends that are graduating. I got one such list from a friend that is a year ahead of me and it really did help me get through freshman year! Some of the tips she gave me were to Go Greek and to study for exams well ahead of time (not that I always did that).

Also, here's a throwback to my high school graduation. I loved the Lilly Pulitzer dress that I wore!

Gift Guide: College Girls

Have a friend that you don't know what to get? Or stuck on what to ask for, for Christmas? Here are some of the things that I think are necessary for college girls at the moment. Trust me when I say a lot of these products are on my list or already in my closet!

Starbucks Gift Card: Coffee may be replacing diamonds and puppies as my best friend. I don't have time to make coffee in the morning so I usually stop at Starbucks at least once a day Mon-Fri.

Hot Stuff Thermal Mug: For those time that I do have time to make coffee, a cute travel mug is essential! I love this one from Ban.dō!

LL Bean Boots: Need I say more? These are my most worn shoes of the fall and for the winter so far! They may be on backorder now, but maybe your parents can surprise you with them for a care package!

Blanket Scarf: A blanket scarf is one of my must-haves on my wish list. I am obsessed with scarves and can't wait to add one to my collection. Not to mention that they are so warm! Zara has a ton of cute ones so check out the website!

Carryall Duo: This duo of small bags are perfect for carrying around those pesky pens and pencils that we use for studying for a great price! The patterns are adorable too!

Laptop Case: Our perfect companions need a safe travel home to and from class so why not choose one in a cute color! (Aqua is my favorite color, hints this case)

Kate Spade Watch: For those classes with the policy of no electronics, a watch is a must-have to countdown the minutes until you can leave!

Slippers: As soon as I get back from class I throw on either my UGG slippers or a pair of fuzzy socks to get comfortable for the long day of studying ahead. I am in love with these slippers from Anthropologie.

Headphones: Quality headphones are necessary for studying in the library, walking to class, and secretly watching Netflix in class. These are my favorite!

Hunter Rain Boots: I have black ones, but I am dying to get a pair of red gloss! Perfect for rainy days like today. Don't forget the Wellie socks to keep your feet warm!

I am so excited to share some gift guides over the next few days, so be prepared! Don't forget to follow my Instagram for OOTDs and other pictures!
